This species is easy to rear. Don't give them wet food. When it is  
warm, there will be a second brood in August. Cocoons can be  
overwintered in the refrigerator. After taking them out of cold storage,  
they will emerge in around 4 weeks. Pairing takes place in the night,  
mostly for some hours, but sometimes until the next evening. Eggs  
should be kept a bit moistured.
