This is an very easy species to rear. Full grown larva can reach 10
cm. Fresh emerged moth are very nervous, and when disturb they
drop onto the ground. Pairing is easy, and a medium cage will do, but
a large cage is preferred. It starts around 22:00 until the following
morning, but can also be very brief. According to some people, you
can overwinter them, by cooling them down in fall to 15-20°C and
warm them in spring.
