Half July - August
Brief in the night (from 01:00 on), easy
Quercus, Rhobinia pseudoacacia, Salix
I only tried to rear this species ones, on fagus. They did very well in
the first 3 instars, but when reached the 4th, they didn't eat any
more, and just died. I think that fagus is not a proper foodplant, and
best could be used Rhobinia or Salix. Eggs will have there 'black dot' if
fertile, like many Automeris species have.
